At the June 23rd Chatham Board of Selectmen meeting Brad Schiff announced the names of the 3 judges for the 2015 4th of July Parade:
We welcome nominations for Parade Judges for the Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2015. The three Judges of the parade are responsible for evaluating and choosing winners for the many award prize categories from all the parade entries.
This year’s theme is “Distinctly Chatham“. Your nomination should be a year round or summer resident of Chatham who has demonstrated fairness and leadership in our community.
The Independence Day Parade Committee will review all the nominations and will make the final decisions. Judges will be announced in late June just prior to the parade.
We welcome nominations for Grand Marshal of the Chatham Independence Day Parade. The Grand Marshal is designated to take the lead in the processional and in the hosting of festivities. As the Grand Marshal is a position of special honor, the nominee must be a year round or summer resident of Chatham and one who has made significant contributions to our community. Don’t forget to tell us why you feel this person deserves to be chosen!
The parade route was first extended in 2015, and now turns from Main Street into Crowell Road and ending at Tip Cart Road.
Please pardon our dust while we get our new web site up and running.
This is a volunteer activity so please bear with us…….
